Rob Bartholomew, one of the directors of the brand Total War in the British study Creative Assembly, has talked with MCV portal on the characteristics of the battles of the anticipated new strategy game.

"We have naval battles and land battles first integrated, so you can take your boat to the landing beaches and the style of Saving Private Ryan," revealed Bartholomew. "When I talk about Saving Private Ryan I mean a phrase we use much in the offices of Creative Assembly, because we want to inject that feeling terrific real battlefield."

"We want to create a level of human struggle, drama and characters on a large scale in these huge battles," he added.
